This was such a wonderful message. Thank you so much for sharing it. It sounded very much like a series that our pastor is preaching about the dangers of familiarity with the world and the absolute imperative that we must be separate from worldly values and lifestyle.
I got rid of my television many years ago, and have never missed it. The pervasive, wicked influence it has is evident in our culture everywhere.
Thank you again for such a wonderful message. "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." We do own a TV, but rarely use it. However, I have been struggling with watching too many movies online, wanting to be entertained. Even if they are clean movies (I try), they are not always the thing that I should be doing, especially if it comes before or ahead of my worship and delight in the Lord!
